“My son had the honor of having Ana-Maria as his speech pathologist for 3 years. She has helped him immensely with his speech and vocabulary, as well as making sure he achieved all his goals set for him at his evaluations. When she first began speech therapy with my son, he was completely non-verbal. Here we are 3 years later and he is now using 4 to 5 word sentences! She was always supportive and dedicated to helping my son achieve his goals. Ana- Maria has not only helped my son but also me as his mother. She always made sure I understood everything during his evaluations and I was always asked if I would like to add any goals for him. She introduced me to PECS visuals as a form of requests (when he was non-verbal) and he now uses his PECS visuals as a schedule to help him throughout his day. Our family loved having Ana-Maria on our team; we miss her and all of her loving, genuine, support.”

– Deanna, mother of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD

“My son Ivan had a severe articulation disorder and not many people could understand him. Many people joked that they couldn’t speak “Ivan’s language.” As a parent I was very afraid with him starting school; how would he tell his teacher he is hurt, needed help, or that he had to use the bathroom? But then Ana-Maria came into our lives. She had techniques to help him make sounds he had never pronounced in his life. She gave me the necessary tools to help his speech on days we didn’t have therapy sessions and techniques to use in our everyday lives. She sent helpful links and printed worksheets for him to practice for homework. When my daughter started having early speech delays, she helped me recognize them and gave me strategies to help her. To this day my son talks all about the fun he had with Ana-Maria, not even realizing they were working on his speech for that whole year together. Ana-Maria will always be apart of our lives when I hear how well he is speaking now. She helped make our lives better and especially his. I know she will do the same for many more families and their children.”

– Alyssia, mother of a child with an articulation disorder

“My name is Jessica Morales, mother of Dexter Vasquez , who was diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech when he was 2 years old. Thanks to Ana my baby has progressed so much with his speech; she gave me hope that my child would talk like the other children his age. At first I had my doubts, but 3-4 weeks later I saw a lot of improvement and then he just kept improving after that. I was very excited because Ana knew how much it hurt me to not understand him and then seeing him get upset because we couldn’t understand him hurt me even more. Now my baby speaks full sentences and knows a lot more than a typical 4 year old. We can’t get him to stop talking! Thank you Ana once again for all you did for my Dexter, my family and I are very appreciative of you.”
