Kaitlyn Dryzmala

Speech-Language Pathologist

Kaitlyn Dryzmala, M.S., CCC-SLP is a board-certified speech-language pathologist in DC and Virginia with experience serving both pediatric and adult populations in schools, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Kaitlyn graduated from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA) with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2021 and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023.

In between her undergraduate and graduate studies, Kaitlyn had the opportunity to serve members of the community in Francisco Marazán, Honduras with Global Medical Brigades. There she provided triage and education on COVID-19 and mental health. While studying toward her master’s degree, she provided individual and small-group therapy with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) users, children with childhood apraxia of speech, developmental language disorders, and speech sound disorders.

Kaitlyn is dedicated to optimizing health, sociocultural, and communicative outcomes for all children and their families. It is her mission to work toward equitable healthcare as an advocate and SLP providing holistic child-led therapy in a culturally responsive manner. She is proud to represent Voz Speech Therapy at Cedar Tree Academy and is thrilled to join the Voz family.

In her free time, catch Kaitlyn exploring the city, trying new restaurants, traveling to a beach, taking Spanish classes at the International Language Institute, and cheering on the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers with her family, friends, and cat Mia.
